1 cup
Milk
1 cup
Water
2 1/2 tbsp
Sugar granules
1/2 tbsp
Ghee
1 cup
Desiccated Coconut
1 cup
Jaggery
1/4 tsp
Cardamom Powder
Instant Rava Modak
  1. Prepare all ingredients to make outer layer.
  2. In a pan dry roast rava on a slow flame (About 7 minutes).
  3. Keep it aside in a bowl.
  4. In a same pan add water and boil it for 1 minute.
  5. Now, Add milk in a same pan.
  6. After that add ghee in water and milk mixture.
  7. Bring it to boil for 3-4 minutes.
  8. After 4 minutes add rava and mix it well.
  9. Cook it for 2 minutes and add sugar (Optional).
  10. Turn off the flame once it becoming thick and keep it aside.
  11. Now, for filling prepare all ingredients.
  12. In a pan add all 3 ingredients.
  13. Cook it for 5-6 minutes on a slow flame and keep it aside in another bowl.
  14. In a mold fill rava mixture and press it gently on sides.
  15. Now, fill jaggery mixture in center and unmold it.
  16. Enjoy delicious indian sweet. Store it in a freeze after 24 hours.
