- Urad Dal
- 4 tbsp
- Sooji (Semolina)
- 0 As per taste
- Salt
- 3 tbsp
- Crushed Chili-Ginger
- 5 Pcs.
- Curry Leaves
- 1/2 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder
- 3 tbsp
- Coriander leaves
- 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds
- 1/2 cup
- Finely chopped onion
- 3 Cups
- Oil (To Deep Fry)

- Wash Urad dal and soak it for at least 4 hours.
- Grind soaked dal to the smooth paste (Add water as required). Add semolina and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.
- Add Finely chopped onions, Salt, Crushed Chili-Ginger, Cumin seeds, Chopped Coriander leaves, Chopped Curry leaves, Black Pepper Powder and mix it well.
- Give it a medu vada shape (Either use medu vada maker or give it a shape by hand). Deep fry it in a hot oil.
- Serve it hot with Sambar or chutney.
