100 Grams
Raw Rice
2 Cups
Milk
150 Grams
Sugar granules
2 tbsp
Finely Chopped Almonds
2 tbsp
Finely Chopped pistachios
2 Drops
Yellow Food Color
1 tsp
Saffron Cardamom Powder
Shahi Phirni
  1. In a bowl soak raw rice for at least one hour. After that drain excessive water and in mixture make a coarse paste.
  2. Prepare all other ingredients.
  3. In a heavy bottom pan add milk and rice paste (To avoid lumps, blend it together). Turn on the gas and stir it continuously.
  4. After 10 minutes add sugar and saffron cardamom powder mix it.
  5. Continue stirring until thicken (almost half in quantity).
  6. Let it be cool. keep it in freeze for at least two hours and serve it in a kullad. Garnish it with finely chopped almonds and pistachios.
