All purpose flour
1/4 cup
Curd
1/4 cup
Milk
1/2 tbsp
Salt
1 tsp
Baking Powder
1/2 tsp
Baking Soda
1 tsp
Sugar granules
3 tbsp
Oil
1 cup
Chana Dal (Split chickpeas)
3/4 cup
Finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp
Chaat Masala
0 As per taste
Salt

1 tbsp
Mustard seeds
1 tsp
Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp
Amchur Powder
4 tbsp
Butter
3 tbsp
Finely Chopped Green Chili
4 tbsp
Coriander leaves
Split Bengal gram Stuffed Kulcha
  1. Take a one cup Chana dal And soak it for 1 hour.
  2. In a another bowl mix all ingredients for kulcha dough. (All purpose flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, curd, milk, 3tbsp oil, sugar granuals)
  3. Kneed a soft dough and keep it aside for 1 hour.
  4. In a pot boil chana dal and prepare all other ingredients for filling.
  5. In a pan add oil and muster seeds and let the mustered seeds crackle.
  6. After that add onions and saute well. Add chana dal and all dry spices. add half cup water an mix it.
  7. Cover the lid and cook it for 5 minutes.
  8. Taka a small portion from kulcha dough , make a roll and fill it.
  9. Apply some water on it and spread some green chilies.
  10. cook it in nonstick pan on slow flame.
  11. Serve it hot with Sweet / green chutney.
