Left over Idli
3/4 cup
Corn Flour
3/4 cup
All purpose flour
0 As per taste
1 tsp
Black Pepper Powder
1 tsp
Red Chili Powder
1 1/2 Cups
Oil (To Deep Fry)
1/2 cup
Julienne Cut Carrot
1 cup
Julienne Cut Cabbage
3/4 cup
Julienne Cut Capsicum
1 1/2 Cups
Spring Onion
1 1/2 tbsp
Soya Sauce
1 1/2 tbsp
Crushed Garlic & Ginger
1 tsp
Green Chili Sauce
1 tbsp
1 cup
2 tbsp
Idli Manchurian
  1. Cut the idli in a large cubes. Prepare all other ingredients.
  2. Mix all purpose flour, corn flour, Salt and black pepper powder. Add water and make batter. (Batter should not be too thin).
  3. Add red chili powder at the time of frying idli.
  4. Add idli cubes in batter and deep fry it in a hot oil.
  5. Keep it aside and let it be cool completely.
  6. Add oil in a pan.
  7. Add ginger garlic paste and saute it for 1 minute.
  8. After that add spring onion and salt. Saute it for 2 minutes.
  9. Now, Add cabbage, carrot, capsicum and saute it.
  10. Add soya sauce, green chili sauce and vinegar. Mix it well.
  11. Add fried idli and mix it well. Add half cup water if required. Serve it hot.
