- In a pan add coriander seeds, cinnamon stick, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, black pepper, cloves and dry roast it on slow flame for about 3 minutes. and transfer it to the plate.
- In another pan add thin sliced onions, garlic , coriander leaves and curry leaves. Cook it on a slow flame until onion turns brown in color. After that combine it with dry roasted spices and blend it in a mixture. Once it is blended add red chili powder and blend it again. Keep this aside.
- For making Gravy : In a pan add oil. Now, add onion, tomatoes and prepared dry masala (1 tbsp + if required). Saute it on slow flame for 3 minutes. Add desiccated coconut and 1.5 cups water. Cook it for 2-3 minutes and allow it to cool. After that make a smooth paste of it.
- In a pan add oil, turmeric powder and asafoetida, tamarind paste and prepared paste. Cook it for few minutes. add water of required. Keep it aside to serve with sprouts.
- In a pressure cooker add oil, cumin seeds, mustard seeds. After that add finely chopped onion and crushed garlic. Saute it on slow flame. Now, add prepared dry roasted masala and mix it.
- Now, add potatoes and sprouts. Add salt as required and pressure cook it for 2 whistles.
- In a serving plate arrange buns (toasted in garlic butter), gravy , sprouts mixture and farsan. Serve it hot.
