Spinach
1 cup
Onion puree
6 Pcs.
Green Chili

Garlic Cloves

Small Piece Ginger
15 Pcs.
Paneer Cubes

Fresh Cream
4 tbsp
Oil
0 As per taste
Salt
1 tsp
Garam masala
2 Pcs.
Dry Red Chili
1 tbsp
Finely Chopped Garlic
Palak Paneer
  1. Wash spinach and add it to boiling water. Cook it for 3 minute. (To keep green color do not over cook it/ do not cook it more than 3 minutes).
  2. After cooking it for 3 minutes, immediate transfer it to ice cold water. after 1 minute remove excessive water and make smooth puree.
  3. In a pan add 1 tsp oil and shallow fry paneer till golden brown.
  4. Make a smooth paste of chill-garlic and ginger. In a pan take 3 tbsp oil and add prepared paste. Cook it for 1 minute. (Ginger is optional)
  5. Now, add onion puree, salt and pinch of Asafoetida. Cook it till onion turns golden brown.
  6. After that, add spinach puree and cook it for 1 minute. Add fresh cream and mix it well.
  7. Now, add paneer and garam masala. mix it well and cook it for 1 minute.
  8. Tempering it with finely chopped garlic, dry red chili and serve hot with rice/Indian flat bread.
